Saw someone get honked at and pull the best petty revenge move.

So I go to 7 Eleven to get some petrol and as I'm about to get back into my car I hear someone honk their horn, I turn around to see an intersection with two cars
  • 04
in the turning lane, the car in front a black/dark grey SUV and the second (the honker) in a white pickup. The honker blasts the horn again, I look up and see the turning light is on red, this idiot was honking on a red signal.
  • 05
For some reason I decide to keep watching (glad I did). The light turns green and another car gets into the turning lane and the guy in front isn't moving and the honker as well as the car behind start blasting the horns. I then

see the light turn amber and the SUV take off leaving no time for the honker to go and get caught on the red signal, all I could think to do was just laugh and clap.

NiruChan • 11h ago . I was at an intersection with loads of traffic. Light was green but I couldnt go otherwise I would be sitting in the middle of the intersection.

Guy behind me was blaring his horn. The cars in front started moving just enough space for my car to fit. Light was still green so I went and the guy behind me did too. Light goes red. I fit in. The guy behind me does not.

What ensued was that the cars crossing from the other side (who watched this whole debacle) started hooting at the guy behind. me because he was sitting in the intersection like the O he was. Instant karma.

Aiku 15h ago I was once behind an a Oole in a 70s piece of sa who just LO on the horn at a trucker at the lights who was waiting for an elderly person to cross the road. Literally 30 seconds of non- stop blaring.

A guy the size of a Sasquatch finally emerged from the truck and strode towards said aOhole, who was now too busy locking his doors with both hands to honk anymore.
  • 12
Sasquatch stood in front of his car, some ragged, 70s Dodge, with a coat-hanger holding up the exhaust, stared him down for a few, then opened the hood and yanked out his distributor cap. He got back in his truck with it and drove away.

MysteriousState... 14h ago On my way to work there's a long stretch that goes on for multiple kilometers where its completely impossible to overtake other cars because there's always tons of oncoming traffic.
  • 14
There always seem to be morons flashing their lights, honking their horns and tailgating trying to pressure the cars ahead of them to speed up even when those cars are already driving above the speed limit.
  • 15
My solution has always been to just slow down to a crawl instead of speeding up and then laugh my head off as I watch them rage in the rearview mirror.

blainemoore 8h ago When I was in high school, I was driving a friend home and stopped at a red light. Kid (I use that loosely, we were seniors and he was a couple years older than me)
  • 17
behind me was honking at me to turn right on red, but there was incoming traffic and I was just chatting with the pretty girl I was driving and ignored him.
  • 18
His brilliant idea was to then use his car to push mine into oncoming traffic.

No cell phones back then, but called the cops on him when I got home. Nothing ever came of it, and I never spoke to him after that, but apparently he was morning off that he was gonna kOme until we graduated a month or so later.

    • fre... • 5h ago ⚫ Edited 4h ago Many years ago I was driving on a two-lane road and an idiot was tailgating me. Even if I'd been willing to go faster, there were three cars ahead of me, so I ignored | him. The idiot decided to pass all four of us in a no- passing zone, where he couldn't see what was coming from the other lane.

was enraged. I caught his license plate number and I was going to call the police on him when I got home, although I doubt they could have done anything. This was way before cellphones.

However, when I got over the hill, he'd been stopped for speeding. I pulled over and told the officer exactly what he'd done. I hope they gave him an enormous ticket. This remains one of my favorite memories.
