Adorable Array of 27 "Not My Cat" Meowments When Hoomans Had An Unexpected Feline Visitor
Hey, all you beautiful I Can Has-ers. We're thinking about our "not my cat" expurrience a few weeks ago, and we have to tell you something: we wish it would happen again. If you're not familiar with the NMC (not my cat) phenomenon, it's when a cat appears in your life (mostly in your house) that isn't yours and usually tries to adopt you. 99% of the time, we fall for it, hook, line, and sinker. These kitties just have a way of snuggling themselves into our hearts and, really, what's one more cat?
Whomever is in charge of the cat distribution system, please send an NMC our way again, our last one wandered off to some other feline fanatic who is probably fawning over them now, and we miss our unexpected feline visitor. The transition from notmycat to parttimecat is a slow one, but the transition from parttimecat to fulltimecat passes in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, they'll be waking you up at 4 AM for food in your bed!
