22:31 262 Touay 17.27 5GE 30 Hi. It's been 64 days since we moved out. Under Colorado law since we haven't received the deposit back in less than 60 days we're entitled to the full return of it
  • 06
Today 22:19 No, your entitled to none of it back because you damaged $1200 worth of carpet, $100 worth of screen doors, never cleaned the place once while you lived there resulting in 30 hours of cleaning, repainting, and a long list of other items really this is a thing for you to try to do. We literally just finished cleaning less than a week ago; you left the place absolutely disgusting

Colorado law is clear. We have videos and photos of the place. Please refer all future correspondence to touch I have photos Do you want to work this out amicably or not? I will be in

NoMoreMonkeyB... . 12h ago I'm pretty sure he's about to owe damages, too. I wouldn't move an inch on this. Take everything you can. The fact that he immediately caved when you indicated you're going to pursue legal action is pretty. telling.

KatieTSO • 9h ago OP, since you live in Colorado: I'm a notary here, I'd be happy to provide you with free/discounted notarizations for you if you need it (related to this case) depending on what part of Colorado you're at. DM if interested.

LazyIndependen... • 12h ago Nice. Take his sorry tail to court. Don't let him bullC his way out of it.
  • 14
Blibbobletto 11h ago Crazy for him to offer $500 if it's so obvious that he's entitled to it all. You'd think on a slam dunk like this he would try to keep his $500. "I never stole that money, and furthermore I gave it all back."

ErikGoesBoomski • 11h ago . What an absolute buffoon. I hope they show up in court and try to pull this bull. Best of luck and happy hunting!

Haunting-Angle-5... . 4h ago The fact that he offered you $500 to drop it immediately tells me he has no case and he's panicking and trying to bribe/bully you out of taking him to the cleaners. Get 'im. Take this to court and then update please.

tamere2k • 6h ago 60 days is wild. In New York they have 14 days.

Lower-Procedure... 6h ago typically carpet can't be taken from the deposit UNLESS it was new carpet and you ruined it. The older it is the less he can use. It's called normal wear and tear. Now if it was saturated with excrements that's a different story. If it took 30 hours of cleaning that alone should have probably taken the deposit if he had hired out for it.
