How do I get my tiny, cute little kids to play Dungeons and Dragons? That is the question that had been plaguing my brain for the past year or so. My two boys just turned 10 and 8 respectively and I really want to get them into Dungeons and Dragons. I already dream of long evenings where, instead of them watching YouTube and me doom scrolling, We all sit together as a family and role play until it's time for bed. However, reality is often disappointing and I am in a bit of a crossroad here.
On the one hand I know they will find Dungeons and Dragons fun and engaging, On the other hand I know that anything their dad says is cool, automatically falls into the "Skibidi Cringe" category (That's what the kids today say, I think). So I have devised a cunning plan to get them to think it's cool - I have found an 11 year old neighbor who plays Dungeons and Dragons, and set up multiple play-dates. Wish me luck!
