Welcome back mommas. Despite the still hot and humid weather, summer is coming to an end. While there is seemingly no end to this oppressive heat, a respite from other summer undertakings - namely having kids at home all day - is finally here. We all love your children and enjoy spending time with them, watching them form new memories and experience the world around them in novel ways, but when you have grown accustomed to a quiet household during the day, the summer full house can get quite exhausting. During the school year, it is comforting to know that for a good portion of the day, your kids are safe, learning, and fed without your 24/7 attention. Of course, back-to-school does come with its own slew of challenges. Adjusting to school's schedule, getting back into the rhythm of things, and having new responsibilities is a lot for kids. Back to school shopping is overwhelming - especially with older kids who no longer care about which cartoon is on their folder. No, they need a specific brand that seems to only exist at the fifth store you end up visiting. Regardless, the time of transition has come at last.
