Being somebody's neighbor can be a strange relationship to have with someone. One day, you're waving to each other on the street, and the next they're scowling at you all because you couldn't stop your dog from doing its business on the sidewalk outside their house. Sometimes, there is no pleasing the people that you live next to and it can make your home environment unnecessarily stressful. This then makes any opportunity to get your own back welcome.
This is exactly what happened to one Redditor with one of his old neighbors at a duplex. When this woman kept making unfounded complaints and then blew up at them for mowing her lawn with her electricity supply, they decided to take matters into their own hands. It wasn't long before that annoying neighbor had something legitimate to complain about for once. Petty revenge is rarely so justified, or so artfully done.
