Boomer Grandparents Throw a Tantrum Over Son’s Baby Name Choice, Sparking Major Family Drama: 'She told me we had no business breaking a long-held tradition'

Naming a child is hard. How are you supposed to find the perfect name when there are endless options to choose from? Literally, you could even choose a tragedeigh if you wanted. But you have to choose wisely, as this will be your child's identity for a long time. Giving them a bad name could affect how they grow up - bullying, trouble getting a job, etc. Or you chose a name that every other parent chose to name their kid too that year.

Well, this couple decided to not take the input of anyone else into their naming decision (as they should) and decided on a completely original name that they loved. They kept it to themselves until the baby was born. Once they officially announced their baby's name to their name, the father's parents could not be displeased anymore. Apparently, they expected the baby to be named after his grandpa, as their family had always traditionally done.
