Got fired LITERALLY during my conversation with my manager

Apparently I got fired because of a late day-off request. Kind of expected this result anyways. Just some background info for my short employment with this

after training, they only scheduled me 3 days per week for barely 18 hours for the whole week. Not to mention that there were several weeks that they just sent me home right after the

for about 4 months and we already fired so many people, at least 3 from what I saw. There are constant interviews, constant terminations and so many staff changes every week.

Lastly, it might be my fault but I did not read the contract correctly. The bonus and commissions are only provided after 90 days of trial period meaning that for all the

products/packages that I sold, I DO NOT get any commission from them. And, apparently I'm still in the 90 days period which literally lasts forever until I got fired today.

Another thing that really p d me off is my manager. I know she's a fake lady from the first day I work there. But today is just ridiculous, I was texting her that none of my coworkers can cover

Personally I think this is a very disrespectful way of ending an employment and this is definitely a very humiliating way of telling me that I got fired.

Honestly, I already have the feeling that they wanted to fire me and my late day off request just gave them a wonderful chance to get rid of me. BUT ITS STILL SOO VERY DISRESPECTFUL.

    • Mec26 12h ago They probably have high turnover so they never have to pay out any commissions. It's likely intentional. That said, if you were there for 4 months, might be worth fighting it (to get the commissions).

The_4ngry_5quid • 13h ago How is this allowed. I don't understand how employment possibly works outside of Europe.

xpacean ⚫10h ago If they routinely fire people before hitting 90 days then you should talk to a plaintiff-side employment lawyer (for free) about a class action lawsuit.

PM_ME_YOUR_NEE-SAN 9h ago You will never convince me that regular employees should be responsible for finding their shift replacements. If managers make the schedule then managers can solve the scheduling issues.
