16 Smallest and Cutest Animals in the World That Could Easily Fit in the Palm of Your Hand

There are so many amazing animals in the world. Unique and one-of-a-kind. The kinds of animals that you have never heard of, the kind that you never even thought could exist. We're talking about weirdly sized animals, like snails that are the size of puppies. Or like animals with cool mutations, like baby crocodiles with tails that make them look like mermaids. Or amazing albino animals that are both beautiful and haunting. The more we look into it, the more we love animals, and we already love them a whole lot.

It was curiosity that led us to looking up the smallest animals in the world, because suddenly, we thought that… maybe we don't actually know. And we didn't. The things we had in our mind when we thought of small animals don't even come close to what we actually discovered. And all we can say after having found the answer about this is that we desperately want to know even more about the animal kingdom.

We have to admit… all of our time writing about animals, and we have not heard about this animal before. We had to look it up, see if it was even real. And it is.
