bruschetta @cilantrowife Follow A family friend brought his wife to dinner last night. They just had a baby a few months ago and I was telling them how much I love their baby's name and if I ever had a third daughter that would probably be her name too. Just woke up to a text from this man saying I was

First of all I'm not even pregnant or planning a pregnancy atp, second of all idk if I'll ever have a third daughter. Also a name can't be stolen

Hungrymutt @hungrymutt 2d Replying to @cilantrowife What was the name? I had a sister in law make a comment about her future babies name, it was cute and original, and the other sister on law named her next kid that name. You can't have two kids in the same close family (Cousins) in close age with the same name. 265 1738 727 ili 259K ☐ ∞ bruschetta @cilantrowife · 2d Actually yes you can lol •

Jessica O'Donnell @heckyessica Replying to @cilantrowife Follow It was weird when a woman in my son's little gym class told me she loved my son's name and was going to use it for hers (she was 7 months pregnant). It was weird for 5 seconds, then flattering, and I knew they'd never be grouped together so who cares

hae @buggus96.2d Replying to @cilantrowife I had lunch with a pregnant friend years ago & we were talking baby names- it turns out we'd picked the same exact first & middle name. Instead of it being a fight about "stealing" a name, it was just funny & we congratulated each other on our good taste. ...

Cal @CallaMcE⚫ 2d Replying to @cilantrowife IT'S A NAME NOT AN IDENTITY lol when I asked my dad if I should reconsider the name we picked for my son because it was my brothers wife's family name. He said “they're not siblings stop overthinking it"

My loca? Are My Perso... @moneyismyviagra Follow Reading this thread and comments and learning that apparently it's "etiquette" not to "steal baby names" makes me realise just how crazy some parents are. I'm sorry but if you're that immature to the point of gatekeeping baby names, maybe you're not ready to be a parent.
