27 Harry Potter Memes for First-Year Hogwarts Students Waiting for the Sorting Ceremony to Begin (August 29, 2024)
Do you think you would have fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, had you been an actual student at that time? Or would you have escaped to Hogsmeade, and waited it out while the real heroes saved the day?
Even though I am not a Gryffindor (proud Hufflepuff, baby!), I like to believe that I would have stayed in Hogwarts and fought alongside my fellow students and teachers. Perhaps I could have found other, less dangerous ways, to make myself useful, like getting the house elves out of the castle or helping those who got injured, but I think I would have wanted to be there and do the right thing, instead of simply running away.
It is much easier to talk about this hypothetical situation than actually live it though. I honestly would not be surprised if I would have ended up hiding in a random cupboard in Hogwarts until the fighting was over, and I guess we will never know…
