Welcome, anime fans and stans. Since its release, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has been regarded as one of the best anime of all time. When I recommend it to people, I often state that it is bears quite a few similarities to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Both shows are goofy, joyful, adventurous, and focus quite a bit on friendships, yet they both heavily feature themes related to politics, anti-imperialism, loss, regret, and religion, and they both balance these things masterfully. Both shows also star short, big-eyed boys manipulating a variety of elements with the support of a cast of colorful, charming, yet very human and flawed characters.  If you're a newer anime fan who's just finished Jujutsu Kaisen, or you're an older fan who hasn't gotten around to watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, let this listicle be a sign that it is time to give it a shot.
