A Cave Full of 26 Not-So-Spooky Bat Memes in Preparation for Spooktober
What better time to honor the little rats with wings than right now?
We're pregaming spooky season with a frightful (but not actually) array of wholesome bat memes. Popular media suggests that bats are actually vampires in disguise, but I'm not complaining. Though they may seem scary, bats are generally gentle creatures. All they wanna do is hang upside down with their best bat friends and fly around aimlessly.
If you live in a bustling city like me, you might not be lucky enough to see bats on a regular basis. They are kind creatures (and quite cute, see evidence below.) They typically travel in big groups because they can't stand to be by their lonesome. As the only mammals that can fly, they spend most of their lives fluttering around and roosting wherever they please. Bats shouldn't be kept as pets, but man, do I wish they could be. Some lucky hoomans have snapped shots of cute bats becoming well-acquainted with them, and we love to see it.
