28 Wicked Memes For Elphaba Enablers, Galinda Apologists, and Dr. Dillamond Truthers
We are less than three months away from the Wicked movie finally coming out, and it's been the longest time coming. If you're not a musical theatre fan, you might not know that this movie was in pre-production heck for years, being announced and quietly put on hold to make room for far less fortuitous projects (Cats (2019) specifically). If you could believe it, there was a time when Wicked was slated to come out in 2016. You have to laugh; otherwise, you'd just cry and then melt.
But Wicked (at least Act 1 of it) will hit the silver screens in November despite the setbacks, and I'm so pumped. I haven't seen the show since I was a little kid, so I'm excited to remember the plot details outside the broad strokes. If you can't wait to get decked out in green and pink for this movie inspired by a musical inspired by a book inspired by a film inspired by a book, these Wicked memes are the most swankified place in town.
