I wish it were easier to live amongst the animals. If I wanted to see some lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) I need to cough up at least 30 bucks at the local zoo. It's pretty easy to adopt a cat or a dog, but I don't want to have to be wholly responsible for an animal's well-being to hang out with them. Why can't we just be bros and social equals? I know that we, as human beings, are not going to evolve into a Bojack Horseman society where golden retrievers and human women can date and reproduce, but wouldn't that be wild? I honestly wish I could ride the subway with a chill turtle who is commuting with his job as the assistant manager of the Crocs store. Doesn't that sound like Utopia? If that's your dream society, these animal memes might be your dream memes.
