Ever since that disaster that happened in 2020 (you know what we are talking about), we have discovered the wonders (and horrors) of working from home. It was challenging to all of us, of course, but those of us that have cats… faced a whole additional challenge on top of the regular. Now, cats like being little hooligans all the time, regardless of the situation. That's why our cats sit directly on our puzzles and why our cats steal food off our plates without shame, and why our cats run straight across our faces in the middle of the night without any concern for waking us up.

But when they were stuck at home with us 24/7… it was cat-astrophic. And even though 2020 was a long time ago by now, some of us have remained working from home, and this listicle is just a reminder of all the things that we still have to go through.

Oh, every single person who has worked with a cat at home knows this very well. We want their attention all the time, and sometimes, when we want it, they deem us worthy of it, but it's as if they want attention specifically when we are actually busy.

And you know what? Inconvenient as it may be, we still give it to them. We give them all the attention that they could pawssibly want. Because we have to take our chances when we have them. Hmm… maybe this is why bosses say that working from home makes us less productive?
