Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. In any relationship, there needs to be a certain amount of trust and reliability. If you feel like your friend, partner, sibling, or parent can't be there for you within reason, it may be a relationship you have to distance yourself from.
In this Reddit thread, these two women agree to move in together. They see many apartments, they sign a lease, and the original poster (OP) moves out of her apartment. Just when it's time for them to move into the new place together, one of the friend's decides to ghost the other. Doesn't answer calls, texts, nothing. OP finds herself in a very difficult situation, and chooses to drop all of it and get an apartment for herself.
In situations like these it's always better to take the high road. It's one thing to bail last minute, but it's another to not say anything beforehand.
