You did it. You survived the workday. But even when you come home from your 9-5, kick off your shoes, and get in your PJs, it seems like there are still so many chores left to be done. All you've wanted all day, and all you've dreamt of all week, is to have an hour of free time to log in to your favorite game, plop into your comfy chair, and play a video game.
For once, wouldn't it be nice if you had infinite free time to do the hobbies that make you happiest?
Haters will say that games are a waste of time, but couldn't gamers argue that video games have more storytelling capability than any movie, more lore than any book, and more excitement than any sport? Take that, hobbyists!
So while you ponder the next gaming afternoon with all of your buddies online at the same time, remember this. Maybe the joys of playing a video game once you're a casual gamer lie in the ephemeral and fleeting nature of it. You only have 15 minutes to play, but in those 15 minutes, you experience the most fun you've had in weeks. Gather, my casual gamer friends, and call up your party to play every now and then–they're probably wishing you were online to play with them, too.
