Mom prompts controversy after insisting on waxing 3-year-old daughter's unibrow: 'I'd understand if she was 14, but 3?'

Many parents would say that they would do anything to protect their child from the cruelties that the world can inflict. The problem is that what they identify as bad and how they deal with it varies wildly from person to person. Add to this the fact that an increasing number of moms and dads like to share their parenting journey on social media, and it's basically a guaranteed recipe for controversy.

The latest hot-button topic to get everybody debating was one mom sharing how she had decided to wax her daughter's unibrow at the age of 3 after feeling traumatized by her parents not doing the same for her when she was a child. While some understood where she was coming from, others felt she was unfairly passing down her insecurities to her daughter. It is not always easy to understand where to draw the line with parenting neuroses.

They don't care about this stuff yet I personally think it's terrible but I would ALSO like to remind you that some parents are doing much worse

    lo@literallylogann • 2d Actually being a good mom is teaching your child to be comfortable with their insecurities & instilling a good sense of self esteem & positive affirmations into them rather than altering your child but a lot of you aren't ready for that convo bc you view children as accessories
