Entitled couple search for roommate, request that once a week they stay the night elsewhere for £1200 a month: 'Please rent our spare room, but don't actually live there'

Living with a couple is rarely fun unless you happen to be a part of the couple. It's difficult to explain, but even when partnered-up roommates are perfectly nice as individuals, as a package they have a tendency to spread their couple-ness everywhere in a way that becomes annoying to other people. Also, if they're horrible to live with then you're dealing with twice the trauma.

Perhaps the crux of the issue is that other roommates are always wondering 'why don't they just live by themselves?'. This is how many felt when they saw a ridiculous advertisement for a roommate in London where a couple were trying to rent out their spare room. The issue was that they didn't want the potential roommate to live there permanently, requesting they find somewhere else to sleep for four nights a month. The price didn't make things any better, and it wasn't long before they were getting thoroughly roasted.

The zone 1 location is super central: - just 2-minutes from Battersea Park -4 mins from Battersea Park station - 6 mins from Queens Town Road Sation - 10 mins from Battersea Power Station (northern line) Our large apartment has lots of dining and relaxing space, and loads of built in storage and desk space in the room.

The only rentals they can find are £1300 plus bills.

    Anya Piper @AKPFineArt 1d Replying to @HarleyShah • From the advert it sounds a bit narcissistic to say the least. I've never spent over £1k for rent and have been lucky enough to not to. If London is too expensive or can't afford it I moved away saves me from dealing with people like this too
