Guy Takes the Wrong Dog Home From the Dog Park, Has a Heartwarming Laugh With the Other Owner When He Returns With Doppelgänger, 'Not-Max'

Pure-bred dogs look alike, but most dog owners would boast that they could pick their perfect pooch out of a line-up any day–but not this guy in our next story. Although he loves his dog, Max, u/Busy_Current_3831 got caught up in a switcheroo at the dog park that left every dog owner chuckling at the classically sweet nature of a golden retriever.  

Golden retrievers are notoriously social and friendly. Little domed heads make for the perfect platform for petting and their swishing yellow tails hypnotize any bystander into sharing their love and affection. At the dog park, golden retrievers are beloved by all–so much so, that the dog owner in our next story accidentally ended up taking home the wrong dog. 

While his boy, Max, was galloping and making friends at the dog park, the original poster of this story didn't realize that there were countless other golden retrievers at the park who looked eerily similar to his pet. Without a second thought, when 'Not-Max' ran up to him on their way out, he scooped up a pup that was not who he thought he was.
