Porch pirate boobytraps themselves with a box of 1,500 live roaches after stealing a package from a neighbor with pet lizards: 'Glorious karma'

Imagine opening a package and expecting a payday only to find thousands of bugs crawling up your arm instead.

This porch pirate in our next tale got a hefty dose of instant karma after he stole packages from the wrong neighbor. Expecting a box from their online Dubia roach dealer, this lizard lover was watching their Ring camera thoroughly the day of the theft. So while the whole neighborhood got their boxes stolen with no karmic relief, when this guy's pet lizards lost their lunch, so did the thief.

If you're not a reptile lover, you probably never realized that you can order live bugs online. I used to have a bearded dragon (RIP to the GOAT, Komodo) and she would devour her weight in bugs every week, going through package after package of live bugs and leaving no trace. Eventually, my biweekly trips to the pet store to buy feeder bugs got exhausting so I started getting her food delivered straight to my door. The clincher is that these bug boxes look exactly like any other random package, which is why the thief in our next story got a horrific Mummy-esque surprise when thousands of live roaches came crawling out of one of the packages they pinched.
