Sister-in-law Kicked Out of Couple’s Home After Her Prank Goes Haywire, They Consider Ditching Her Wedding As a Result

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Halloween is around the corner and spooky season affects us all differently. Some people don't care, some people have a whole month of Halloween macabre themed activities, and some people like to dress up in costumes and try to scare others. Some people like to connect to their dark side, to push boundaries and see how someone will react in atypical situations. 

In this Reddit thread, the original poster (OP) is a woman whose sister-in-law is a handful. OP's brother and SIL come to visit her and her husband, which is where all the drama starts. OP's husband and her SIL are quite different; her SIL is a 'Disney adult,' and the SIL describes OP's husband as 'dark.' SIL wants to see where his limits are, if he'll break under pressure, if she can scare him to the point that he'll scream.     The incident causing all the trouble is that she tried to jump scare my husband in the garage. It was dark and she ambushed him in the garage while wearing a full outfit and mask when he was returning from a run. Well he didn't let out the scream she wanted ... He instinctively reacted by shoving her against the wall.

    She hit her head and was quite shaken up. Luckily he realized very quickly by the sound she made that it likely wasn't an intruder. He switched the lights on and pulled her mask off. He told me he was very confused in the moment.. why would she attack him?

    Frankly, she's lucky she was not hurt more than she was. There's a direct cause-effect here yet she's not accepting responsibility. I think her behavior falls into the "play stupid games" category. Your husband doesn't have anything to apologize for

    This woman is drama. Good on you for not catering to it because it's going to happen again. She 100% will make a stink about you two in relation to her upcoming wedding... like asking everyone to get your husband to apologize etc
