Whenever anyone tells us that cats are not affectionate, we have multiple responses. Either: "Yep, some cats aren't, deal with it." Or: "That's not true! Cats are just picky about who they're affectionate with." Or, and this one is our favorite: "True, but sometimes, their laziness overrides their dislike of cuddles and they just… let it happen." That's true in a lot of cases, and not just with cats and humans either. It's rare that a cat will go out of its way to cuddle someone. That one cat who was caught on camera cuddling an anxious dog every day is a rare sight.
A lot of times though, cats will just.. keep on chilling and let whoever wants to cuddle them cuddle them. We've seen a cat chill with a whole bunch of baby ducklings like that, and we've seen a cat let a rabbit cuddle up to it and keep chilling, and today, we get to see a cat stay so chill during a cuddle session with a bunch of chicks that it actually allows the baby birds to sit on its head. Wholesomeness and calmness - that's what this video is.
