Some women attach themselves so tightly to a certain name that they feel they have essentially a legal claim on it. It can cause relationships to cloven. It's a little selfish to assume someone else will adhere to your desires to own a baby name. The truth is that someone else out there will probably have the same name as your baby, and it's something that every parent just has to get used to. 

In this Reddit thread, that's exactly what happens. The original poster (OP) is a woman who's pregnant and already has her baby name picked out. She's naming her daughter after her late grandmother, but her dream turns into a nightmare when her SIL demands she reconsider. Her SIL has been thinking about naming her daughter this name as well, but the kicker? The SIL isn't even pregnant.
