However, as the Redditor who shared this post mentioned, it's not really about the minutiae; it's about the bigger picture. In this instance, the bigger picture here is the fact that the original poster (OP) is the breadwinner and the person who foots the grocery bill 99% of the time, and yet, her very simple requests have not been respected. 

Essentially, OP purchased a normal-sized salad dressing bottle that she intended to use for various meals over the course of the next 1-2 weeks. When she returned from work the next day and started preparing dinner for her and her partner, she saw that the salad dressing bottle was finished. Her boyfriend had consumed its entire contents within a 24-hour period. Some of you may find that to be gross; others may find it to be impressive.
