The Funniest Animal Memes of the Week (November 2, 2024)

Monkeys are having a big moment in movies right now. Dev Patel stared in Monkey Man in the spring, but as far as I remember, there wasn't an actual monkey actor in that movie. A new installment in the Planet of the Apes series came out around that time, and the Wicked movie (which has not only flying monkeys but also a goat professor) will be out in a couple of weeks. I'm most interested in the strange musical biopic of Robbie Williams called Better Man. Instead of casting an actor who looks like Williams (and that's Robbie, not Robin), he's being portrayed by a CGI monkey. Of all the gimmicks that can make someone go to a poorly conceived music biopic released in January, this one is at least the most creative I've seen recently. If you love animals on the movie screen and the computer screen, these animal memes will be an entertaining romp.
