Man With Terminal Illness Makes Heartbreaking Decision to Give Up His Dog, He Gets Better, Then Films Their Tear-Jerking Reunion Showing She Never Forgot Him (Video)

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: doggos are life. Doggos are everything that is good in this world and then some. Doggos don't care if you are having a bad hair day or feel like a big pile of doo-doo, they just want to be next to you, make you happy, and live as a part of your life. Dogs make us smile every day, and today is no exception thanks to this pawsitively wholesome video of a man being reunited with his four-legged best friend.

After making the heartbreaking decision to give up his dog due to a diagnosis of a terminal illness, he healed and got better. It must have been one of the hardest decisions on his life, but like any other dog owner, you just want the best for your pupper. And when you can't give them that, you have to find someone who can. Anyway, on to the good part!

He is finally released from the hospital, and where does he go first? To get his dog. Their reunion is one for the memory books, filling us with doggie dopamine, tears, and a smile you just can't get rid of. We're sure you're going to love this video as much as we did. Enjoy!

We can't imagine having to make that decision. We even took a job closer to home so we could be closer to our doggos every day. It must have been so hard, but in the end, it was best for her, and that's what every dog owner should do (put their dog's wellbeing first).
