'I guess she chose me': Pregnant Cat Gets Abandoned in the Middle of the Woods, Her Kitten Sadly Doesn’t Make It, but She Finds a New Home with the Kindest Rescuer

The idea of someone abandoning their cat is something that has always baffled us. Our cats are a part of our family. We love them as if they are our babies. We go out of our way every single day to make sure that they are as happy as they can be. The thought of losing our cats, even just for a day, is something that we dread regularly. So abandoning our cat… making that choice… impossible. Let alone abandoning our cats when they need us as much as this kitty did. 

Because the cat in this story was abandoned at its worst moment. A pregnant cat, possibly on the very verge of giving birth, dumped in a forest with no one around to help. It's a miracle that someone found her and that this someone cared enough to do something about it - to adopt her and give her a home. After everything that she has been through, she truly deserves it.

    This caption makes this story sound bad enough, it really does. But reading on… finding out the rest of the story, finding out how much worse the situation actually was, we can only say that we are thankful that there was someone there to help this kitty.

    She seems like the biggest sweetheart. We don't know how anyone could ever possibly abandon her. We are sure that she is going to bring so much happiness and calmness into your home, and we hope she will live and long and peaceful life for a long, long time.

    TitaniumDreads • 2d ago • "Someone obviously dumped her" yeah maybe but cats are also kinda dumb sometimes and just get lost. These little furbrains (that I love) get stuck in trees or bullied out of a neighborhood by other cats. Possible she's just lost. Always chip your pets folks

    Puzzled-Ad2295 • 3d ago • That is how it works. Took my box kitty in the day after I found her. They confirmed she wasn't chipped and seemed healthy. Then told me that cats didn't last long there. Then proceeded to give a big pile of food, litter,etc. that was 2018. Glad it worked out that way.
