Woman Demoted From Maid of Honor at Sister’s Wedding for Prioritizing Work Instead of MOH Duties, Sister Defames Her Career in Retaliation: ‘You’re just a glorified housewife’

It's not a given that we will understand the decisions and motives of our friends and family. Have you ever watched a loved one make a series of appalling decisions, and just facepalm when it all blows up in their face? We all know someone with the worst taste in men and relationships, always trying to expose their red flags before they get hurt, but our suggestions go through one ear and out the other. Unfortunately, we can't save everyone from themselves. 

But what about when there's nothing wrong or shameful about your occupation, though you get slack for it anyway? That's exactly what happens in this Reddit thread. 

In this story, the original poster (OP) works as a live-in personal assistant to a family. She loves her job, even if it isn't the most traditional. Her sister, however, doesn't accept her for who she is. Things get heated when OP tells her she won't be able to deliver typical MOH duties for her sister's wedding.
