Bridal party guest demands woman leave wedding reception because her yellow dress looks white under the venue's black lights, woman refuses: ‘The groom shrugged’
Every lady knows the number one rule of wedding attire: You never wear white, or anything close to it for that matter. The color white is reserved for the bride unless stated otherwise, and even then, you might still come off a bit tacky if you show up in some extravagant cream-colored gown. There are some exceptions, though—the woman in this next story wore a "bumble bee yellow" dress that appeared white under a black light. Oops.
It's important to note that the woman received many compliments on her wedding guest dress, a few from the bride herself. Once the ceremony and cocktail hour finished, the wilder reception kicked off. During the reception, a member of the wedding party approaches the woman and asks her to leave because the black lights are making her yellow dress look white. This woman traveled overseas to attend the wedding and had no plans of leaving early. The wedding party guest escalates the situation and tells the groom what's going on. His response? Nothing. Scroll to read about the aftermath.
