Entitled Vegan Couple Insists on All Vegan Spread at Wedding, Brother Shows Them Up By Ordering Pizzas Instead, Resulting in Guests Mocking the Bride: ‘Saved by the pizza’

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. We all know the illustrious, entitled, stereotype of the vegan who's always on their pedestal of judgment for what everyone else's diet looks like. We all have that vegan in our lives whose sole purpose seems to be shaming others for eating animals, and giving themselves a pat on the back for abstaining from this monstrous practice. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a carnivore, mankind has been eating animal products since the beginning of time, and many cultures are still very accustomed to that lifestyle. 

This brings us to the Reddit thread. In this story, the couple getting married have been vegan for three years, and plan to have an all vegan wedding. The caveat? They're not telling any of their guests about the wedding's spread. Now, I understand what they were going for, but although it's their wedding, it's also their responsibility to feed others in a respectful way. People don't think about the fact that when you have a wedding you have to please the guests as well. But you'll have to read the full story below for all the juicy details.

    AlwaysHelpful22 • 6h ago • Be honest, you didn't tell anyone about the menu because you knew they wouldn't like it/come if you did. This doesn't make you an AH, but people could have eaten beforehand if they knew the menus weren't to their liking.

    would have been the right move here. The bringing pizzas was also an AH move, but no one was right. I'm an omnivore and eat tons of fruits and veggies, but I can't eat high fiber veggies or mushrooms. I'm allergic to soy. I hate coconut milk. Often times the swaps

    people make to make food vegan dont work for me. Idk what I would eat at your wedding.. when folks have Omni menus I can usually eat at least the meat or fish proteins and veggies.

    Why did the pizza "upstage" the vegan meal? How much. of the pizza was eaten? Did others object to it being there? Or did many guests agree that the reception was saved by the pizza? If I was there I'd have been thrilled to see the pizza delivered.
