Hey, fellow cat lovers. Everyone thinks that cats only love tuna and chicken, but if you've ever had a childlike fur baby before, you know that each one of them has their own purrticular cravings and strange indulgences. For example, one of our voids was obsessed with beets. She loved them. We didn't even eat that many beets, but we actually started eating them a lot more after we figured out she liked them. Who would have thought that our cat would make us eat a diet with more veggies inside?

We know for a fact that our cat isn't the only one with a purrfect pension for strange snackies. There is a viral video of a cat enjoying some corn on the cob that is proof enough that cats don't just eat meat. We found a pawsitively silly Reddit thread of funny cat pawrents spilling the catnip tea on all the weird foods their cats love, and each answer just gets more and more silly. Some of them are meowrvelously ridiculous!

    Lettuce. Lettuce?! We'll believe it when we see it. Nobody "likes" lettuce. How can you like something that is basically crunchy water? It has no flavor. What a strange food for a cat to enjoy!

    not_impressive • 6h ago . My childhood cat, Beeps, loved dulce de leche ice cream. I couldn't eat it around him because he would go nuts trying to lick it directly off the spoon. He had a great affection for caramel in general. My family doesn't have any black cats right now, but I subscribed to this subreddit because of missing Beeps.

    Well, we get that. We also love dulce de leche ice cream. It's an underrated flavor, way better than chocolate fudge brownie almond caramel mocha latte swirl. Ice cream flavors are getting ridiculous these days!

    littlebookwyrm 6h ago. ⋅ Top 1% Commenter He didn't try to eat it, thankfully, but I recently had one of those protein packs with nuts, dried fruit, and cheese, and my void did try to eat it that part (but that's not the point of this story!) became obsessed with the plastic seal after I took it off. He was carrying it around the house with such determination! I have no idea where it ended up. My orange boy, may he rest in peace, was a monster for cheez-itz and graham crackers.

Our cat is a certified inspector of any new item I bring in and hoped. the decaf coffee would pass the sniff test but she just chomped a good scoop. I couldn't pull out fast enough yet she wants more, can you imagine that?? And yes, she's fine.
