Cats are such unique creatures. They have things in common, of course, but still, each cat has something unique about it. Unique habits, unique ways of showing affection, unique desires, and…. unique things that they like to eat. You'd think it would be obvious. Cats like meat, and that's it. But nooo. Cats have an eternally weird obsession with human food.

Some cats have an incredibly weird bread addiction. Other cats will stop at nothing to get sweets. For a while there, we thought it was just our cats who were such weirdos about human foods, but then we found out that wasn't true. So, in celebration of this discovery, we decided to ask you guys whether your cats have some unexpected human food that they're really into, and we truly got some answers that we were not anticipating.

The fact that this cat is so specific in how she wants to eat these candies makes this story so much better honestly. Like- it was good already, imagining this cat rushing at your grandparents to get candies from them like a child, but the fact that she would meow until the candy was presented in the exact way that she wanted… yeah, we love cats.

Most of all, we want to know how the heck you managed to find out about this. Did you present your cats with the cantaloupe? And if so, what made you decide to do that? Did your cat attempt to steal a piece of cantaloupe right off your plate? We wouldn't put it past them to do that.
