PATCO @prime_patco. 2d Replying to @ImMemeO Where is your proof this is a service animal and not just another "emotional support dog"? These people are acting like a_h_les themselves. You leap to conclusions here. Maybe you have an issue with older people? .:

MRG @MRG11212 • 11h Replying to @ImMemeO The disturbance to the other animals? I have a 80lb dog that chases the same squirrel that lives in a nest in our tree. It's been over 3 months.

Lee (Greater) ❤ @shortmagsmle. 2d Replying to @ImMemeO Almost every "service dog" I've encountered is owned by a middle-aged woman who thinks she's the queen of England of a POG veteran who once sprained his ankle in the motor pool and is pretending to be Audie Murphy

Remark... → Follow @ProudBearkatBen Replying to @ImMemeO Hard disagree *if* she's correct and it's posted that dogs aren't allowed on the trail then she's 100% right to call them on that. If you don't like the rules then there's probably a process to change it but otherwise they should be followed. Besides most of these "service" animals are bulls anyways.

pika ^-^ @p1kA4A.1d Replying to @ImMemeO she is correct ChatGPT 40 > dogs are legally permitted anywhere that visitors can go. NATIONAL PARK SERVICE се However, there are specific circumstances where service animals may be restricted to protect park resources or for safety reasons. For instance, certain areas may be closed to dogs based on wildlife activity and nesting. AMERICAN TRAILS In such cases, park authorities may designate certain zones as off-limits to all dogs, including service animal

JulietisLurking @JulietsLurking ⚫ 2d Replying to @ImMemeO Or just don't take your dog with you places it isn't allowed stop feeling entitled to do whatever you want all the time.

Jon Collins ❤ Follow @JonCollins11316 Replying to @lmMemeO If it's a true service dog I 100% agree, the law allows this. The problem is people that know the law are taking advantage by saying their dog is a service dog when it's not. My neighbor openly admitted to doing this and went as far as to say "they're not allowed to ask you for proof so I can bring him anywhere”. I love dogs (and hate Karens) so it's a fine line but it's also not always clear cut.

Allie @Cluffalo 1d Nah, there's a vibe shift happening with Karens People are realizing that high trust societies are built by the people willing to look a little prudish in order to enforce rules and norms You need a certain quantity of Karens to sustain an enjoy a polite society
  • 17
Allie Beth Stuckey ❤ @conservmillen Follow No. Society needs the right Karens. Karens like this are the sentinels of civilization, the enforcer of the rules that keep nice things nice

rudy betrayed @rudy_betrayed. 2d No-dog trails on wildlife preserves are to prevent your dog from on everything which prevents the wildlife from returning. We use these trails to see rare birds and deer and rabbits and sh. When people bring their dog, those animals disappear. Karen is in the right

Aloe Yoroi @AloeYoroi 1d Off topic but the first signs of gentrification are higher levels of dog sh around your neighborhood and local parks

Danny Phantom @trey_wing6 • 19h That's actually the furthest thing from a Karen I've seen

Josh Peterson@jdpeterson · 2d I live in Fort Collins. There are enough dog friendly trails that they didn't have to go on the one that forbid dogs. Also, there are enough people that scam the "service dog" claim that she probably saw through it without saying it. Yes, hate Karens. But this isn't it.

Ellen Pasternack @pastasnack_e. 2d I don't know who's right in this situation, but it's very telling that the first response of the people with the dog, repeated multiple times, is "do you own this park?". As if there's no reason for an individual to have a stake in a community asset unless they own it privately.
