We, here at ICHC, often say that it's not you who adopts the cat, it's the cat who adopts you. Sure, you're the one who walked into a shelter or the one who found the kitten on the street, but they are still the ones who adopted you. Hey, if they didn't want to come with you, then they would not have. It's as simple as that. But once you are chosen, once the cat sees you and knows that you are going to be its home… there is no going back, for the better or worse. 

Yup, you get the cute and cuddly kitty moments, but you also get the chaotic and hilarious kitty moments. It's a package deal. And if you are like this couple, who found - i.e. been found by - a trashcan kitty that is a little louder, spicier, and more chaotic than most… it's time to learn to enjoy the chaos, because it is here to stay.
