Petty restaurant owner roasts diners who give 3-star or lower reviews on their meals: 'We will not be listening to you'

This restaurant owner won't stop until they've replied to every single review of their eatery, doling out the sassiest replies imaginable to mid-level criticisms.

Not every dining establishment is worth the cost of eating there. At some places, the decor is lovely, but the food itself is just "meh." Other spots have incredible food, but they have only a couple seats, meaning you and your friends have to eat while standing up. Some have particular dishes that are very good, while other plates on the same menu that are pretty lousy. It's a toss-up, and so many of us trust our taste buds to the good folks of Yelp and Google reviews.

If your restaurant has a 3-ish star rating, that's not a great sign. It can indicate some pretty serious failings, which are almost always outlined in the reviews. Sometimes it's just a delivery problem — the food is good, but it arrives cold. You've got to watch out for the really serious issues involving hygiene, long wait times, or bad service. But if the general gist of the food reviews assert that the food tastes good, you'll probably still go there anyway and see for yourself how the meal really is.

This restaurant owner is acting totally unhinged, and it's honestly really funny how upset they get at any type of criticisms lobbed their way. For example, the first customer here just thought the food was okay, but not spicy enough for their liking — they gave it 3 out of 5 stars. Okay, that's mid, but it's not 1 star. It's not diabolical. Did that matter to the owner? No, not in the slightest. They absolutely went off on this person in a way that makes it highly unlikely they'll ever see that customer again. Why be polite and professional to your customers if you could be totally wacky instead?

Funny enough, this owner does appear to overreact to almost every review, even though most of them have the mildest possible criticisms, like "there weren't enough chairs." That's an easy fix, and a good suggestion to boot! But an easier fix is just ranting and raving at said reviewer, rebuking everything the customer had to say. I mean, whatever works! Some criticism isn't a bad thing, but clearly no one has let this restaurant owner in on that piece of advice.

Honestly, if I was a restaurant owner and I saw the phrase "local guide" in that person's description, I'd invite them to come again, not berate them! Say goodbye to any traffic that customer would've brought in, because they'll certainly steer clear now.
