Woman Kicked Out of Boyfriend's House After She Rejects Their Invitation to Join Family Vacation, Insulting Their Generosity, Causing Them to Revoke Christmas Invitation, Leading to Eventual Breakup

You can't help who you fall in love with, let alone who their family is. Either you and your partner's family align for the most part, or you don't. If you don't, things can get awkward at best and become a dumpster fire at worst. People often get a little sensitive when it comes to their family, and sometimes it's better to hold your tongue than to get involved in the delicate workings of how a family operates. We wish this girlfriend had gotten that type of advice before she so 'kindly' volunteered her unsolicited opinions on her boyfriend's family and the way they conduct trips and anniversaries.

This girlfriend's drama with a family that isn't even hers is perhaps juicier than the tea you spilled this whole year combined. We don't know what's more dramatic, this unfortunate update or the original Reddit post, because the update below is incredibly outrageous, to say the least. Revoking your girlfriend's invitation to a family vacation on the same day you're supposed to leave is a whole new level of harshness. Talk about a slow and painful burn. It's only a matter of time before this love story comes to an end; although the hopeless romantic in us hopes it can be saved. But with a family like this, maybe it's for the best. Some people's families are too involved.
