Not only do you get time off from work, but everyone is pressured to feel the holiday spirit by trying to be nice to each other. Gift giving, family time, and the spirit of Christmas transform this season to a favorite time of year for many. But generous gift giving and trying to be on Santa's good list don't always work out. Some people are Scrooges, Grinch's, or just don't have the holiday spirit at all. 

In this Reddit thread, the original poster (OP) is a woman whose brother just got married for the second time. He was dating his ex since high school and had two kids with her, so she's pretty close with the extended family, much to the dismay of his current wife. She gets word that OP still buys her ex SIL Christmas gifts, and she demands she stop. Merry Christmas, and hopefully these women sort out their beef.
