To Unleash Some Fabulous Festive Fun, Shelter Lets Dogs Pick Their Own Christmas Gifts, and Their Tails Jingle All the Way

Christmas has passed, and yes, it was as epic and awesome and amazing as we hoped it would be. And you know what made it even better? Our dogs being with us. Our dogs enjoying Christmas as much as we did. Our dogs getting Christmas gifts and enjoying the happy atmosphere. There is nothing cuter than a Christmas doggo living its best Christmas life. But while it's true that our dogs had the best time celebrating with us, not all doggos got to experience the cheer.

So many shelter dogs are still waiting for their future owners to come walking in to adopt them, and although we believe and hope that their time will come soon enough, that all these doggos will get adopted, for now, they're still in there. But this year, same as the last, the Chattanooga humane society decided to bring some Christmas cheer directly to their shelter doggos - by bringing them a giant pile of gifts from which they could choose their new favorite toy.

Really, if there is anyone in the world who deserved this… a little Christmas miracle of their own… it's shelter dogs. Just the thought of thought of them waiting for their forever families in there hurts, so we are just so, so thankful that the people there arranged this for them.

They all look so intensely happy that this happened to them. Like their own little slice of heaven plopped down into the earth on Christmas. You can see it in their excitement. Now we just have to wait for the real miracle to happen this year - for their future owners to walk in there as fast as pawssible.
