My grandfather and his wife make themselves TOO at home whenever they visit.

They live on a boat so I get wanting to take advantage of things they can get or do on the boat, like taking baths instead of showers, etc.

However whenever they visit my mother's house, they act however they like with no care for any care that they are visitors.

Bulky Specialist9645 • 6h ago Top 1% Commenter They sound like serious ah les. That's not making yourself at home, that's treating your mother like she's their servant! It would be a cold day I would invite them back.

Rxmenqt OP • 6h ago • Maybe? They are nice people, although my grandfathers wife is eccentric and he just does what she does.

Bulky Specialist... • 6h ago Seriously, who acts like this when staying at family's house? When you look at the list of all the coappy things they did, they're not nice...

feargluten 6h ago • Nice people treat others with kindness, respect and consideration... your g'dad and the olive oil bandit do not embody those sentiments

Family's only family if they treat you like family... and that ain't how you treat family

Rxmenqt OP • 6h ago • The olive oil bandit comment made me laugh so much. Also your right, once again, most of the issues occur from his wife but he does do nothing to stop her so he is complacent

intoxicatedlovee • 6h ago • I'm sorry but why can't you say anything? A polite talk about cleaning up and respecting someone else's house shouldn't be much of an issue, or am I missing something?

Rxmenqt OP 6h ago • Idk, my mother doesn't complain to them, and it's her house so I feel like I'd be stepping out of line for complaining to them too.

Also she only recently rekindled her relationship with her father so maybe she doesn't want to mess
