24 Lord of the Rings Memes for Middle Earth Couples on a Journey to Mordor

My favorite bromance in a movie all about bromances must be the relationship between Legolas and Gimli. Sworn enemies and born from an elf or dwarven royalty, these two should have hated each other from the start (which they sort of did, but not as much as you'd imagine). Their inherent distrust of the other's race led to a salty-sweet friendship forged first in the fires of Khazad dûm as they fled for their lives from the Balrog. 

Ancient evils and hoards of goblins were enough pressure to turn this lump of coal into the most precious diamond. 

Although it'll never be as precious as The One Ring (duh, just ask Gollum), the friendship that flourished between Legolas and Gimli was born of competition as they playfully kept k!ll-counts and monitored one another's score against their foes. The friendly competition helped keep the Fellowship alive and once you peel back the layers of these 'Frenemies', it's clear that they're actually best buds. So if you have an unlikely friend who makes you a better archer–or even just a better person–send them a Lord of the Rings meme list that still only counts as one meme.
