Well, you've made it to the end of the week, animal fam. Just kidding! Sorry, we know that wasn't funny, but it is Wednesday, and that's at least something. We're past the halfway point, and without another holiday in sight, we're just going to have to hunker down and get through it. Or maybe, just maybe, we could pretend it's still Christmas and use that pawsitive fuel to help us finish this week with a smile. Nobody likes to work over Christmas, but if you have to, you might as well spend it with all of the lonely doggos and kitty cats who are stuck there over Christmas. With all of these warm, fluffy, fuzzy, furtastic (we could go on, but we think you get the point) feelings in our hooman hearts, we feel that we have all the power we need to make it to the end of the week with a pep in our step. Honestly, this is why we love this job. We love finding things that will make people smile on the internet every day and sharing them with you all. We're all so wrapped up in our own worlds that can become so negative so quickly. But we're here for you as your shining ray of pawsitivity. Doesn't it just melt your heart that someone would give up their Christmas to spend their time with lonely animals? It sure melts ours!

You know this cat truly appreciates the attention they're getting. We had a hugging cat once when we were kids. Whenever she needed to feel close to you, she would wrap her arms around our arm and just snuggle up next to us and not let go. It was the cutest thing ever!

Yes, we also want to say thank you to this wholesome hero! Christmas is the season of giving, and most times we get wrapped up (see what we did there?) in the idea of presents. But a gift doesn't have to be something material - it can be a gift of love and attention as well!
