Sometimes karma needs a little push, which malicious compliance can help with—which is exactly what this cook did. He, of course, did his normal duties first, which took hours. He left every new task he was given until the very end. So when he finally was able to get to the deep cleaning that was asked of him, it was right before the dayshift. So when the day shift employees arrived to do their job, everything they needed was still in the wash. What did you expect??
When the executive officers found out, he came down asking questions. He heard both sides of the story, and when he heard our Navy cook's side, he called the dayshift cooks “stupid” and chewed them out. Ahhh, karma is great.
