Family dinner comes with a lot of strings attached. And when it comes to siblings–you know, the kind who get along just fine but will always measure their half of the sandwich with a fine-tuned ruler–dinner reservations are never as simple as they should be. Granted, planning any restaurant outing with more than 4 people presents a problem, but even when this brother and sister were given the task of working out the family dinner details, everything went haywire. 

According to little sis, it was her brother's turn to pay for family dinner, but apparently also her choice of restaurants. Read on for the details of this family dispute that was settled at the cash register after an entitled sister thought she'd get away with a free fancy meal at her bro's expense. Unfortunately for her, this vegetarian brother saw nothing on the steakhouse menu but karma.

After she tried to stick him with the 12-person bill at a steakhouse costing around $100 per guest, he immediately bailed. Knowing that he could eat a far more delicious salad prepared at home, he left her stranded with her own reservation, tying her to the anchor of her expensive choice with nobody to foot the payment at the end of the night.

Leave a message at the restaurant that "something came up" and you and your wife can't make it for the meal. Tell them to enjoy their meal without you... and your wallet.
