Is there a better time of year to be a gamer than the pits of January? I'll wait. While other people's hobbies might be stifled by a lack of outdoor availability (you don't hear much about pickleball this time of year, do you?), gamers have been waiting for this moment all year long. We're used to spending hours wrapped in a blanket in our gaming chairs, watching the hours tick by as we lose ourselves to a Dark Souls session. We're unfettered by the lack of sunshine. In fact, we look forward to it. The sun causes too much glare on our screens. 

Not that gamers aren't multifaceted people with interests outside of gaming and a love of the outdoors, it's just that we thrive when everyone is forced to huddle up indoors. Plus, we can pretend it's Summer while we're playing Ocarina of Time. And isn't that almost as good as the real thing?
