See? Now THAT sounds like something very necessary to get angry about—and it would appear this isn't the first time he's weaponized his incompetence and then gaslit her about it when she brought it up. The thing is, if he had just owned up to it, apologized, and grown into a better person who would love to help the mother of his children/the love of his life carry in the groceries, then there wouldn't be any issue here. Instead, he is now on the top of every woman on Reddit's “dump him” list.
The wife, obviously, loves him and isn't taking the “dump him” requests too seriously, but she is soaking in all the advice. She says she wants to treat her family with “compassion and love” but “without letting them walk all over me.” She hears that she needs to express her needs better, but she also sees that her husband is acting like a child and that she doesn't deserve that. She already has children in the house to take care of—her husband is supposed to help her with that, not add to the chaos. See what kind of advice the supportive ladies of Reddit have given below!
