Big cats are stunning, majestic, wild animals who deserve to have all the freedom and space to run as they could possibly want. We believe that wholeheartedly. The thought of a big cat being imprisoned as someone's pet is awful to us, and yet… some big cats, unfortunately, who have gone through traumatic experiences in their lives, cannot live in the wild on their own anymore. We have seen it time and time again, and those big cats find their place in the world next to their humans. We have seen a bobcat kitten whose favorite toy is fennel, we have seen a black leopard becoming best friends with a dog, and we have even seen a caracal cat nag its human while she's working like any other housecat.
We're happy so long as these big cats are happy. And the big cat we're talking about today sure does look happy. This sweet cougar who got blinded as a cub and cannot, sadly, be released back into the wild, has found her home. And we are so, so happy to see her happy.
