Feline fanatic wife walks into Petsmart to buy a fish, but instead wholesomely adopts purrfect black cat brothers who needed a pair of parents: 'You've been catfished'

Ah, the old "I'm just going to buy a fish" excuse, huh? Her husband fell for the oldest trick in the book. We, too, have been known to go out to "buy a fish" and come back with a cat (or two). We can't help it! We can't turn our backs on kitties in need, and two adorable voidling brothers like the ones below would definitely qualify as cats in need of a good home. At this point, anytime we go out for any unspecified reason, our partner knows we're on the hunt for a new cat to bring home. They've even started coming with us to help (and this is why we're getting married).

Petsmart is no place for a cat to live. In fact, no cats should be forced to live in an animal shelter of any kind. Of course, it's pawsitively better than living on the streets, but we wish for more people to make space in their hearts and homes for all the cute cats that need them. They are sweet souls who just need a little love, and honestly, what's the harm in adopting one more cat?

We've never owned a floofy void before, and we're pawsitively jealous of this little guy's floofiness. He looks so soft. All of our voids have been short-hairs, and although it makes the black hairs much harder to see, they are much more streamlined and much less… meowjestic. Don't tell them we said that, though, it will hurt their feelings.

We've never owned fish before, mostly because we like having pets we can play with, pet, and touch, and also because having an aquarium sounds like a lot of work. Have you ever seen someone clean an aquarium? It purractically takes a whole day. We'll take vacuuming daily over cleaning gallons of dirty water any day.
