Pawrents have a lot on their plates. Not only do they have to keep a helpless living creature alive, feed them, bathe them, keep them warm, and love them, but they also have to socialize with other pawrents, to ensure their kid has friends. And to do that pawrents - after a long day at work where they had to be at their best - must plan playdates or head to the park. TV is not a good company, unfortunately, and social connections are still crucial.

The afternoon time frame is a challenge. First, you have to befriend other pawrents so your kid will know other children. Then, you have to be active in their playtime, ensuring they aren't bullied, don't break anything, and don't get all hyped on sugar. You also have to become a rescue team sometimes, if they get stuck in the slide or are too scared to come down. Park is a really good solution for afternoon socializing because pawrents hope their kids (and pet kids) will burn off energy, so sleeping time will be easy. But since they’ll get bored of going to the same place every day, you have to get creative sometimes.
